Kurz vor den Wahlen in Südkorea hat sich unser Netzwerk in einem Short mit dem Konflikt auf der koreanischen Halbinsel beschäftigt. Damit bietet das Netzwerk einen Überblick über den Konflikt auf der koreanischen Halbinsel, sowie über die Rolle Deutschlands im Konflikt, bezieht aber auch kritische Perspektiven auf den Konflikt ein.

Abschließend betrachten die Autor*innen mögliche Handlunsspielräume Deutschlands im Konflikt. Hierbei legen sie einen besonderen Fokus auf Nichtregierungsorganisationen und Stiftungen, welche es von Deutschland aus geschafft haben, für Dialog und Austausch mit Nordkorea zu sorgen.

Shortly before the elections in South Korea, the network Young Generation Germany-Koreea addressed the conflict on the Korean peninsula in a short. The paper provides an overview of the conflict on the Korean peninsula and Germany’s role in it, but also includes critical perspectives on the conflict.

Finally, the authors consider Germany’s possible scope for action in the conflict. In doing so, they place a special focus on non-governmental organisations and foundations that have managed to foster dialogue and exchange with North Korea from Germany.
